Wellness & Well-Being - why talk about it?!?
These terms get thrown around quite a bit, and it can be (I find) confusing at times.
For me, talking about wellness, I am referring to our all encompassing state of being healthy in body and mind, especially as the result of deliberate effort.
I started my wellness journey a few years ago, by exploring what wellness and well-being mean to me, in order to learn what my needs are.
A deep, true & honest connection to self is key in order to do so.
I have learned the importance of being connected to myself, understanding my thoughts, emotions, needs and wants more clearly, so that I can go from a place of reacting to taking conscious action.
